At Parque de Atracciones de Madrid we have prepared an unforgettable Halloween party, with the most spectacular setting and a lot of surprises and novelties.
Celebrate with us the eve of All Saints' Day on our usual rides and on the new horror rides we have prepared for the occasion: Asylum and El Laberinto, as well as Nosferatu, El viejo caserón and Horror Cinema 'Director's Cut', which are also added again to our The Walking Dead Experience -which you know is an experience that is not included in your ticket to the park- so you can live a terrifyingly fun Halloween day.
In addition, we have changed the decoration of our facilities, we have new animations in the streets and we have created some musical shows that will delight the whole family: Dark Cabaret, La banda de los muertos and Patrulla Canina will make you dance this Halloween at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid.
And what can you do at home to continue your celebration? Here are some simple Halloween decoration ideas.
Halloween crafts to decorate the house.
You can decorate your home for Halloween in a very simple way, so that all the characteristic elements of this date are everywhere.
- How to make spider webs? Surely you have an old cushion. Take out the stuffing and stretch it until it looks like a tangle of threads. Then you can spread it around the staircase, vases and some lamps and you will give a more spooky air to your home.
- Do you have any old dolls? Rip off the toy's head and paint it to make it look more sinister and place it in the least likely of place.
- Ghostly figures. Take old containers and draw faces of ghosts, witches, skeletons... You can spread them around the shelves and, if you can place a candle inside, it will be even more shocking.
- Simulate blood. With paint, nail polish, tomato or some kind of red goo, you can make your home look like a crime scene. Put some on the bathtub or on some old clothes and surprise your guests.
The best Halloween decorations to make at home
There are other decorations that can be even scarier in your home. We propose two that attract a lot of attention.
- Ghost. Take an old sheet, inflate a large balloon and tie it to a broomstick. Cover it with the sheet and paint scary eyes and a scary mouth. Place it in a corner and it will become the king of the party.
- Sinister doors. You need continuous paper and coloured cardboard, and some time to make monster faces the size of the doors of your house. Tape the result and your guests will believe that behind each door is a sinister surprise.
How to decorate a Halloween pumpkin
Learn how to make a Halloween pumpkin because it's essential to decorating your home, you can't miss it! Follow these steps to make it:
- First draw the face you want your pumpkin to have with a marker pen.
- With a good knife and a lot of care, cut the upper part of the stem.
- Empty the pumpkin with the help of a large spoon.
- Cut out with the knife the pieces you have drawn for the face.
- Place a candle inside.
- Replace the top of the pumpkin.
Easy, isnt it? You will have to use some force because the skin of the pumpkin is a bit tough. That is why it is best not to let the kids do it on their own.
As a tip, be clear about what you want to draw on the pumpkin before you do it and, to better cut the top, make a circle through which you will then pass the knife. This way you will avoid wasting the pumpkin because you will make fewer mistakes when making the cut.
